The institution began its journey in 1996 with the DGNM (Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery) program, with the aim of providing quality nursing education and contributing skilled professionals to the healthcare sector.
With a vision to expand opportunities in higher nursing education, the institution introduced the 4-year B.Sc. Nursing program in 2021, with an approved intake of 60 students. The college is affiliated with Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and approved by the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC), ensuring that the academic curriculum and training meet the standards required for professional healthcare education.
